139 – 142 High Street – Known as Pigeon central, the plot of land has been to Auction but did not meet the guide price. It is set to go to Auction again but we believe at a reduced price.
21/0041/Full 67a Marine Parade East – Plans for large extension and overpowering glass frontage, has now been refused. The Conservation Officer has reported that it was not in line with Lee on the Solent’s Seafront policy.
Fareham Borough Council planning Application P/22/0165/OA for 375 Houses off Newgate Lane has not been determined by FBC’s Regulatory Board within time specification for determination. It is anticipated that this application will go to an Appeal. We are awaiting details.
The Planning Team have visited Marine Concepts and were taken on a tour of the Workshops and offices. Marine Concepts is a family business which is soon to expand on to a site next to the existing building – 21/00326/Full. We were shown the plans along with landscaping.
We are hoping to meet up with the Daedalus Waterfront Developer. Plans have yet to be submitted to GBC but we are hoping to get some information for the next Review.
